Job summary

Ormat Technologies, Inc. in Reno, NV or Rio Vista, CA seeks an Equipment Operator to maintain and safely operate a bulk truck and related equipment. Responsibilities include rigging, coordinating with cement pumps, inspections, and reporting maintenance needs.

Qualified candidates hold a CDL Class A with at least 2 years of DOT experience, be able to pass drug screenings, and be willing to work weekends/holidays and overtime. Customer safety and vehicle care are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 2 years of DOT Class A truck driving experience.
• Live within 100 miles of Rio Vista, CA.
• Oilfield truck driving experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• HazMat CDL endorsement preferred.
• Ability to read/write/speak English sufficiently to perform job duties.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate DOT tractor trailer in a safe manner.
• Operate Bulk Equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Rig up and rig down activities including handling flow iron, pipes, valves and hoses; use hand tools as needed.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Assist pump and bulk plant operators and mechanics with maintenance tasks.
• Load cement and assist with job prep.
• Operate forklift around yard and warehouse.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety policies.
