Job summary

Mennel Milling Company is seeking a Truck Driver for the Dowagiac, MI area. This role involves safely transporting products, performing daily vehicle inspections, and ensuring compliance with DOT and food safety standards.

You will deliver excellent customer service and handle necessary documentation, with overtime as needed. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL in good standing.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience on similar vehicles.
• No CDL suspensions or revocations in the past 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport products while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or equipment issues.
• Follow all food safety, quality, GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and sanitation requirements to maintain an audit-ready environment.
• Serve as a professional ambassador for Mennel by providing outstanding customer service during deliveries.
• Complete required documentation and assist with other duties as assigned.
