Job summary

Capital Waste Services is seeking a CDL Driver to operate Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, and ASL garbage trucks across service areas in Tennessee and surrounding states. The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL, a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.

You will be responsible for safe loading/unloading, routine vehicle inspections, and maintaining delivery records while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL Drivers with a Class B or A CDL
• Prefer at least 2 years of driving experience in the garbage truck industry with rear load, ASL, roll off, or front end
• Valid Medical Certification
• Be dependable, reliable and trustworthy
• Be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Safe driving record verified through DMV

Responsibilities

• Operate Front-End Load, Roll-Off, Rear-Load, or ASL trucks to collect and transport waste materials
• Ensure safe loading and unloading while following safety regulations
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with team members and supervisors
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with the public
