Job summary

Smith Transport is hiring CDL-A & CDL-B tanker drivers with steady freight, reliable schedules, and strong pay. The 7-Axle tanker division offers consistent work, predictable home time, and excellent weekly earnings.

Starting pay is $26/hour plus overtime, with annual earnings around $104,000+ on average. Minimum 6+ months experience and a tanker endorsement are required; home time varies by route. Company provides lodging paid during orientation, and 24/7 driver support.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license.
• Minimum 6+ months experience.
• Must be able to operate 18-speed manual trucks.
• Tanker endorsement required.
• Any candidate who has violated the DOT drug & alcohol regulations must have completed the Substance Abuse Professional program before applying.

Responsibilities
