Job summary

Prime Meats LLC is seeking a CDL driver for a 6 pm–4 am shift in the Buford, GA area. The role involves delivering and transporting goods to distribution centers and customers, with emphasis on safety, route efficiency, and compliance.

Requirements include at least 6 months of CDL driving experience, customer interaction, and a clean driving record. Competitive salary with quarterly performance bonuses up to 9,000 USD, paid training, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a CDL driver.
• Experience delivering products and interacting with customers.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials to manufacturing plants or distribution centers.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Drive routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles; retain receipts.
• Comply with trucking rules, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.

About the Job

Job Type:

Shift: 6 pm-4 am

• Full-time job, we guarantee 40 hours a week.
• This job would be Sunday to Thursday.

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance before every route.
• Drive routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
