Job summary

Wallis Companies is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to deliver products from the Cuba, MO area. You will be responsible for loading and unloading, maintaining compliance with DOT hours of service, and ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate.

Maintain safe operation of the vehicle, follow company policies, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers about delivery status and issues. This role requires reliability, safety discipline, and the ability to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old minimum.
• At least 2 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English for effective communication.
• Follow DOT hours of service regulations and maintain safety on the road.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products accurately and on time while loading/unloading as required.
• Adhere to DOT rules and company policies governing weight limits and inspections.
• Maintain safe operation of the vehicle and report any safety concerns to dispatch.
• Complete all paperwork and ensure bills of lading, logbooks, and drop tickets are accurate.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally about delivery status and issues.
