Job summary

GHR Healthcare in Orlando, FL is seeking experienced Clinical Documentation Excellence (CDI/CDI) professionals to support concurrent and retrospective review workflows during a large health system integration.

This high-priority role requires 3+ years of inpatient CDI/CDI experience, an active RN license (CCDS/CDIP or equivalent certification preferred), and expertise in DRG optimization, mortality reviews, provider queries, and MS-DRGs.

Overview

We are seeking experienced Clinical Documentation Excellence (CDE/CDI) professionals to support concurrent and retrospective review workflows during a large health system integration. This is a high-priority opportunity for candidates with strong second-level review experience, DRG optimization expertise, and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

• Shift: 8 Hour Days


• Hours Per Week: 40

Job Requirements

• Required Skills: Clinical Documentation Excellence (CDI/CDE), second-level reviews, DRG optimization, mortality reviews, concurrent and retrospective reviews, provider queries, MS-DRGs, CC/MCC capture, SOI/ROM, and clinical validation.


• Education: RN


• # of years’ experience: 3+ years of inpatient Clinical Documentation Integrity/Clinical Documentation Excellence experience.


• Active RN license. CCDS, CDIP, RN, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
