Qualifications

• RHIA or CCS or RN license within 6 months
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Information Administration
• 3 years in healthcare management or inpatient coding/clinical documentation

Responsibilities

• Manage the CDI team including hiring, training, and evaluating team performance
• Ensure productivity and accuracy standards are met
• Develop and execute CDI process improvement projects
• Collaborate with HIM physician advisors, medical staff, vendors and coding leadership
• Provide data and solutions to support CDI objectives across Carle
• Lead ongoing education for medical staff, coders, and CDI teams
