Qualifications

• Hawaii RN license required at hire; ACLS and BLS certifications.

• Provide nursing consultation to unit staff and other hospital personnel.
• Act as on-site administrative representative for Hospital Administration outside of customary business hours.
• Respond to all patient and facility emergencies as Incident Commander.
• Maintain oversight of hospital capacity and capability for services.
• Triage and prioritize patients for admission based on needs.
• Coordinate patient transfers from local and out-of-area facilities.
• Monitor and adjust nursing shift staffing to meet patient needs.
• Incorporate the KP Nursing vision, Model, and Values throughout nursing practice.

About This Role
