• Current clearances as required by Pennsylvania law for working with students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the musical production, including casting, rehearsals, and performances.
• Collaborate with the theater department, including the producer, choreographer, and technical director, to ensure a cohesive vision for the production.
• Conduct auditions and select cast members based on talent and suitability for roles.
• Develop and implement rehearsal schedules, ensuring that all students are adequately prepared for performances.
• Provide vocal direction and coaching to enhance students' singing abilities and stage presence.
• Organize and lead music rehearsals, focusing on vocal techniques, harmonization, and ensemble singing.
• Coordinate with the orchestra or band, if applicable, to ensure seamless integration of music and performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students, encouraging participation and collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding rehearsal schedules, performance expectations, and any changes.
• Manage the budget for the musical, including securing necessary resources and materials.
• Attend all performances and provide support during technical rehearsals and shows.
• Evaluate the production process and provide feedback for future improvements.
