Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, cardiac and critical care environment. You will collaborate with providers and the care team to support patients and families through assessment, treatment, and education.

You will perform procedures, monitor responses to therapy, document thoroughly, and educate patients and caregivers about plans and medications.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN with cardiac and/or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure documentation of care in the medical record; administer medications and monitor responses.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and educating patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
