Job description

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this CCTV Technician position, located in Orlando, FL. This position is a long term contract hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site and for a minimum duration of one year. Local candidates strongly preferred.

Job Description:

1. Administration of Nice CCTV VMS (Nicevision) and CCure Access Control (CCure).
2. Assist in VMS and ACS system software upgrades.
3. Support Application and server related troubleshooting and implementation efforts of Electronic Technicians.
4. Network Administration and Desktop Support for client side and sensor configuration support tickets.
5. Data quality control for existing and future configuration and attributes relating to sensor deployments, application configurations, integrations and related GIS maps.

Qualified candidates would have the following:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

1. Experience or knowledge of video surveillance systems, security cameras and CCTV technologies i.e. Verint, Genetec, NiceVision & Standalone CCTV systems.
2. Experience with CCure access control including programming, security panels and devices (mag-locks, card readers, strikes, etc.).
3. Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to diagnose and solve problems effectively with IP CCTV cameras.
4. Professional tech support skills and experience are highly desired.
5. Strong customer service skills and ability to work across organizational domains.
6. Proficient with Window Server OS and related applications.
7. Willing to work in a service or construction environment.
8. Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
10. Must have excellent analytical skills related to the job functions and requirements.
11. Must be a self-motivated individual who can perform with minimal direction, using sound judgment and creativity in solving highly complex technical problems.
12. Demonstrated ability to use professional etiquette when dealing with Authority personnel and outside vendors.
