Wachter is seeking an experienced Commercial Security & Low Voltage Technician to install and maintain advanced CCTV systems in Boston, Massachusetts. The position involves running low-voltage cabling and ensuring installations comply with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current valid state Physical Security or Life Safety license is a plus.
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years.
• Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, blueprints, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial CCTV systems.
• Run low-voltage Cat 6 cabling through commercial buildings.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
• Assist Project Managers with schedules and equipment delivery.

Skills

Knowledge of cabling infrastructure

Ability to read blueprints

Technical troubleshooting

Collaboration skills

Education

Current Physical Security license or Life Safety license
