We are seeking an experienced and licensed Commercial Security & Low Voltage Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CCTV and networking systems. This role requires running low-voltage cabling, bending conduit, reading blueprints, and configuring network equipment in commercial environments. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers to deliver high‑quality installations that comply with all local and federal codes.

Responsibilities

• System Installation: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various commercial CCTV systems.
• Cable Infrastructure: Run low-voltage Cat 6 cabling through commercial buildings.
• Physical Infrastructure: Install conduit and drill concrete walls as required for cable pathways.
• Network Integration: Complete all wiring, setup Main Distribution Frames (MDFs), and troubleshoot network switches.
• System Testing: Conduct operational tests and troubleshoot new installations to guarantee functionality.
• Compliance Verification: Ensure all systems satisfy customer contracts and meet local, state, and federal codes.
• Team Collaboration: Assist Installation Team Leads and Project Managers with schedules and equipment delivery.

Qualifications

• Licensing: Current, valid state Physical Security license and/or Life Safety license if applicable would be a plus.
• Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a clean record (no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years).
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, blueprints, site maps, and closeout documentation.
• Safety Certifications: Certified (or willing to get certified in orientation class) to operate a boom or scissor lift and comfortable working at heights.
• Tools & Transit: Own basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transit for the initial training period.
• Availability: Flexible and fully available for project-related travel.
