Job summary

Superior Hydrovac in Charlotte, NC seeks a CCTV Operator to perform CCTV video pipe inspections and support sewer-cleaning operations. Responsibilities include loading equipment, setting up gear, and operating CCTV cameras to document defects. The role requires at least 1 year of related experience and a valid driver's license.

Work is on-site with exposure to outdoor conditions; you will work in accordance with safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent desired.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State Driver’s License within two weeks.
Must pass criminal and MVR background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Load and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs.
Set up and operate sewer cleaning equipment and related gear.
Operate CCTV and other equipment to inspect sewer lines and seal defects.
Place traffic cones and remove manhole covers to set up procedures.
Locate line sections, set up winches and skid, and thread cables for CCTV footage.
Operate camera controls to obtain clear images and document defects.
Ensure daily supplies for the TV truck and assist with chemicals as needed.
Clean and store equipment after use.
