Job summary

Hydromax USA in Atlanta, GA is seeking a CCTV Camera Truck Operator to operate a CCTV truck and deploy robotic cameras to televise sewer lines, producing written reports per PACP standards and inputting CCTV data into GIS.

The role involves outdoor fieldwork, safety leadership, strong computer skills (ArcGIS Online, Excel, Word, email), and travel up to 80% (2–3 weeks away). Candidates must have a valid driver's license, pass background/drug screens, and be able to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Minimum 3 months of CCTV Operator experience.
DOT Medical Certification (or ability to obtain).
Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
Willing to travel 2–3 weeks at a time; up to 80% travel required.
Available to work 50+ hours/week, including weekends and some nights.
Outdoor work experience preferred.
Proficient with inspection software, ArcGIS Online, Excel, Word, and email.
Ability to obtain NASSCO PACP and Confined Space certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead daily safety talks and ensure crew safety.
Manage site traffic control and protocol.
Lead launch inspection and retrieval of robotic camera equipment in sewer pipeline systems for municipal customers.
Oversee technicians while operating camera system and advise on procedures.
Repair and maintain CCTV units and coordinate with software vendors for updates.
Read, analyze and identify discrepancies on digital or PDF maps.
Daily reporting and data uploads to company software.
Use inspection software, ArcGIS Online, Excel, Word, and email in daily tasks.
Complete utility inspections using approved procedures.
Work outdoors in all weather and be prepared to travel as required.
Operate with current tech: smartphone/tablet for field data.
