Job summary

ADM seeks an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental oversight and compliance for its CCS projects in Decatur, IL. You will manage permitting, reporting, and regulatory interactions with EPA, DOE, and state authorities, ensuring adherence to all environmental regulations across capture, injection, monitoring, and closure.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading environmental permitting and compliance programs.
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, legal, sustainability, and regulators.
• Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting for Class VI injection wells and CCS infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with CAA, SDWA, Illinois Safe CCS Act and other regulations.
• Prepare documentation for air permits, UIC permits, EIS/EAs; maintain EHS database.
• Develop MRV plans and lead environmental program implementation.
