Young World Physical Education is seeking a Fourth Grade Elementary Teacher for Clear Creek Elementary in Oxford, Iowa. This full-time position focuses on developing and implementing curriculum, collaborating on student achievement, and maintaining classroom records.

Fourth Grade Elementary Teacher
Clear Creek Elementary, Oxford, Iowa, USA
Provides instruction in the curricular areas and behavioral skills to students in an elementary grade. One‑year position; the grade and elementary school may change after the 2026‑2027 school year.
Principal or Designee

Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, assessment data, professional journals and regulations; effectively write reports and communications; present information orally; assist students in language and literacy.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, decimals and fractions; assist students in applying these mathematical concepts.
Ability to solve problems effectively; interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Believes that all children can attain high levels of learning; takes responsibility for students’ learning and own performance; possesses knowledge and skills to build effective educational experiences; applies continuous‑improvement principles; functions as an effective member of the educational team; proactively faces educational challenges; utilizes effective interpersonal skills; has a track record of success; works with great integrity; demonstrates regular and prompt attendance.
Ability to apply knowledge of current research related to the district’s educational goals; establish effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community; speak clearly and concisely in oral and written communication; perform duties with awareness of district requirements and Board of Education policies.
Standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle objects; occasional kneeling, squatting, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds up to 12 feet, and up to 20 feet on occasion; requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus while supervising students and using computers and written materials.
The environment is largely quiet; may require work beyond typical 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. hours; indoor classrooms and outdoor supervision of students.
