Job summary

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a CCBHC Project Director to lead and direct implementation of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) criteria, services, and activities for the CCBHC demonstration, SAMHSA grant, or any other CCBHC-related opportunities. This on-site role reports to our 502 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY location.

Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. This is an on-site position with the potential for hybrid after six months.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in health-related (behavioral health/public health/policy/administration) or related field; Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience considered.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic planner with ability to pivot and adapt to changing program requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant healthcare field experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct implementation of CCBHC criteria, services, and activities for the CCBHC demonstration or related opportunities.
  • Initiate and drive ongoing consultation with leadership to meet program requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of CCBHC certification requirements as primary NorthKey contact.
  • Participate in meetings and webinars with DMS, SAMHSA, and other organizations.
  • Monitor policy developments and support advocacy and sustainability efforts.
  • Oversee budget, resources, reporting, and deliverables for the grant.
  • Ensure staff training compliant with standards and policies.
  • Prepare reports as requested.

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a CCBHC Project Director to Lead and direct implementation of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) criteria, services, and activities for the CCBHC demonstration, SAMHSA grant, or any other CCBHC-related opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in health-related (behavioral health/public health/policy/administration), project management, business, social science field, or related field. Bachelor’s degree will be considered with extensive experience.

JOB DUTIES
  • Lead and direct implementation of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) criteria, services, and activities for the CCBHC demonstration, SAMHSA grant, or any other CCBHC-related opportunities.
  • Initiate and drive ongoing consultation with leadership and other team members to ensure meeting all CCBHC program requirements.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of CCBHC certification requirements to serve as NorthKey’s primary contact and subject matter expert for all CCBHC-related initiatives and activities.
  • Participate in regular meetings, webinars, and communication offered or required by Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services (DMS), SAMHSA, The National Council on Mental Wellbeing, and other relevant organizations.
  • Monitor federal and state policy developments and participate in regional and state-level advocacy and stakeholder engagement efforts to support awareness and sustainability of the CCBHC model; share relevant updates and considerations with leadership to inform planning and decision-making.
  • Support planning and coordination of sustainment strategies for CCBHC services in collaboration with senior leadership in the event of changes to or discontinuation of federal or state demonstration funding.
  • Serve as the primary owner of CCBHC quality measures, including performance monitoring, reporting, and communication with DMS, SAMHSA, and other stakeholders. Partner with BI Analyst/Evaluator for report development, data analysis, and data interpretation support.
  • Oversee budget, resource allocation, reporting requirements, and other deliverables for the grant.
  • Ensure CCBHC-required training for staff, in collaboration with the Training and Education Coordinator and Human Resources.
  • Lead and ensure completion of CCBHC surveys and community needs assessments.
  • Assist with development of policies, procedures, clinical processes, and EHR changes that align with integrated care and improved outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with standards of care defined by The Joint Commission, SAMSHA, the Kentucky Department of Medicaid, Office of the Inspector General, Department of Behavioral Health, and other federal and state entities related to organizational designation as a CCBHC.
  • Achieve, promote, and maintain strong working relationships with managers, team leaders, other staff, and community partners, leading and participating in internal and external workgroups and committees.
  • Provide current and up-to-date information to the Chief Impact & Quality Officer.
  • Achieve and maintain active involvement with various community groups, as needed, that furthers the positive image of NorthKey Community Care and the services provided by the organization.
  • May take on additional responsibilities related to leading quality, compliance, and performance activities across multiple projects or grants.
  • May provide supervision and guidance to assigned staff, consistent with organizational structure and leadership direction.
  • Prepare reports as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
RELATION TO ADMINISTRATION

  • Adhere to confidentiality in all matters pertaining to client information.
  • Maximize efficiency and effective use of time in maintaining accurate and punctual time reporting.
  • Attend internal meetings relating to responsibilities and duties.
  • Maintain a professional and business-like manner in dealing with all internal staff, Board members, state and government staff, sub-contractors and vendors of NorthKey.
  • Represent NorthKey in a professionally appropriate manner.
