Job summary

RBC Bank in Raleigh, NC seeks a Capital Planning & Financial Reporting Analyst to support CCAR submissions, forecast balance sheets, and provide management with robust financial dashboards. You will partner with FP&A, modeling teams, and business lines to ensure accurate projections, documentation, and compliance with regulatory expectations.

The role emphasizes model execution, controls validation, variance analysis, and the creation of executive reports to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in capital planning, regulatory reporting, treasury, FP&A, or a related area.
• Proficiency in Excel, with ability to manage large datasets and build/maintain financial models.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end development of Balance Sheet and PPNR forecasts under Baseline, Adverse, and Severely Adverse scenarios.
• Collaborate with lines of business, FP&A, and modeling teams to gather driver inputs and validate assumptions.
• Prepare and validate balance sheet and income statement schedules for CCAR submissions.
• Perform variance analysis between actuals, plan, and stressed forecasts.
• Develop and maintain CCAR documentation, including model whitepapers, policies and procedures.
• Assist with back-testing and model performance evaluation to assess forecast accuracy.
• Enhance the CCAR forecast process and drive automation and controls in model execution.
• Track and remediate regulatory and audit findings related to CCAR and stress testing.
• Monitor macroeconomic indicators relevant to scenario analysis.
• Create executive performance reports and dashboards to track key drivers and initiatives.
