Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse/ RN to join our clinic team and support direct and indirect patient care. The role requires rapid response to changing patient conditions and collaboration with providers, nurse managers, and co-workers to ensure quality care.

The position includes cross-training in lab assays, reception duties, and radiographic studies, with intent to advance ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire and BLS already required.

Qualifications

• RN degree with BLS certification and to obtain ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: 6 months required experience, 2-5 yrs clinical experience preferred.

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY:

The RN provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting. He/she communicates with providers/nurse manager/co-workers as appropriate, about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic evaluation and changes in patient condition or symptomatology. The nurse will be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment, and avail his or herself of all training, skills and ability commonly developed through attainment of licensure in their field. The nurse may also have inventory/ordering responsibilities in addition to clinical responsibilities, and will expected to cross train in additional areas of clinic responsibilities including laboratory rapid assays, reception and radiographic studies.
