Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to manage routine, project and turnaround activities at the refinery, ensuring safe work practices and adherence to CITGO policies.

You will lead field crews, coordinate maintenance with Operations, Reliability and other groups, drive best practices, control costs, and support mechanical integrity and environmental compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Total experience in related field is required (5+ years).
• Experience as Step-Up Supervisor preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and ability to obtain TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Model safety-conscious behavior and ensure work is performed safely.
• Coordinate all Maintenance activities across refinery to maximize utilization and minimize costs.
• Lead maintenance to comply with environmental regulations and waste-handling guidelines.

Job Summary

Manage, supervise, and coordinate the routine, project and turnaround maintenance activities for all personnel performing work within the refinery. This includes the safe execution of all fieldwork in a safe and cost-efficient manner and ensuring knowledge and compliance of all CITGO policies & procedures for any employee performing work in their area of responsibility. Job duties displayed below are not all-inclusive, site-specific responsibilities may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Typical candidate has a total of 5 years of experience that may include education in a related bachelor's or associate degree program.
• Experience as a Step-Up Supervisor preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of SAP and Maintenance Planning software.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC)

Job Duties

• Model safety conscious behavior and ensure that all work is performed safely. This is to be done by ensuring all workers understand their responsibilities and work according to established procedures. The supervisor is to spend time in the field auditing work and identifying hazards before a job begins as well as do pre-job reviews, safety huddles, and other needed reviews when appropriate to facilitate safe work. Complete, track and report all necessary documentation per refinery policies and procedures.
• Coordinate all Maintenance activities for your area of responsibility. Work with personnel across the refinery in Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and other groups as needed to ensure work is done safely maximizing utilization of the process equipment and minimizing expenses.
• Lead the Maintenance effort in achieving compliance with all Environmental regulations. Ensure compliance with all guidelines for the handling and disposal of all types of waste material.
• Provide leadership for profit improvement initiatives. Implement best practices. Increase workforce effectiveness & productivity. Support the overall Maintenance effort in the Refinery with coordination with other Maintenance Supevisors concerning resources.
• Provide assistance ot the entire Maintenance organization which may include TurnAround support across the Refinery and assistance in any other areas of the Refinery where requested and needed for manpower, tools and equipment.
• Control and onitor mechanical integrity thorugh preventative work orders and assure these are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure compliance of mechanical integrity programs. Lead the Area Maintenance effort to improve mechanical reliability. Solicit inpu on improvement opportunities.
