WSP is seeking a CBTC Project Commercial Manager to support one or more CBTC projects for New York MTA on which WSP plays a significant role. Reporting to the National Commercial Management Practice Lead within WSP’s Program Management Business Line, the Project Commercial Manager leads efforts to manage the flow of information, contract compliance, documentation, communications, and issue resolution throughout the pre- and post-award and construction phases of one or more major CBTC projects, in partnership with WSP’s project team. This role will be full time onsite at an MTA office.
In this role, you will work closely with the project management team, operations, legal, and finance to integrate standardized best practices for schedule, cost, and risk, and related contingency management into a strong commercial outcome across the project’s lifecycle. You will support the CBTC PMT project team by integrating commercial strategy with data‑driven project controls, as well as help the team proactively identify risk, manage performance, and protect schedule, quality and financial outcomes.
You are an experienced commercial leader with proven background in large-scale project delivery, project controls, contract change management, and contractor claims management. You are a commercially-driven professional who understands how project management, contracts, risk, and financial performance at the project level align with broader business objectives. You are collaborative, analytical, and confident operating in fast paced and complex delivery environments.
Expected Salary (all locations): $264,900-$323,100/year
