Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to deliver triage assessments and low intensity CBT-based interventions for adults with common mental health problems.

The role involves telephone triage, guided self-help, and online CBT programmes, with regular clinical supervision. Based at our Tooting Broadway office, there are opportunities for remote or hybrid working consistent with service delivery.

Qualifications

Formulation of treatment plans based upon CBT evidence.
Conduct and document risk assessments and management.

Responsibilities

To provide comprehensive triage assessments and low intensity therapeutic services for adult patients referred to the service based on CBT principles.
To make appropriate use of specialist assessments including structured interviews and questionnaires.
To undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual patients and advise on psychological aspects of risk including self-harm.
To contribute to development of new and existing CBT programmes for anxiety and/or depression.
To communicate treatment plans and monitor progress with patients within the service.
To maintain data collection and coherent clinical records.
To collaborate with team to ensure appropriate step-up and step-down within stepped care.
