Job summary

Node.Digital seeks a highly skilled CBRN SME to support critical operations in Herndon, VA. The role requires US citizenship and deep experience in CBRN/WMD/HAZMAT response, emergency management, and continuity planning. You will coordinate multi-agency training and ensure readiness for high-stakes scenarios.

Lead teams, mentor personnel, and contribute to planning efforts across EM, COOP, and public health domains, delivering action-oriented solutions with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US citizen.
• Demonstrated expertise in CBRN/WMD/HAZMAT response and EM planning.
• Experience coordinating Airfield/Terminal Operations and related training.
• Proven ability to lead teams and train personnel by example.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Airfield/Terminal Operations, Aircraft crash/Structural Fire Fighting training, and related EM/HAZMAT plans.
• Develop and implement CBRN/Hazmat response strategies, isolation, disposal, and patient care tactics.
• Lead and train teams, communicate clearly, and sustain continuity planning and EM readiness.

Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to implement an effective action plan.

Demonstrate experience in the coordination of Airfield/Terminal Operations, Aircraft crash/Structural Fire Fighting Shipboard/Shore Based Team Training, Fire Protection Planning/ & Design/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Management (EM) and CBRN/WMD/HAZMAT response, isolation, disposal and patient care tactics as well as EM, COOP, Force Protection, Public Health, Future Concepts, exercise planning and continuity planning.
