Job summary

JRAD is seeking an experienced CBRN Defense Program Analyst to support the DoD Air Force (DAF) within AF/A4C. The role will manage programmatic activities, develop policy recommendations, and ensure DAF equities across Joint and NATO modernization and acquisition efforts.

This is a hybrid role with roughly 50% onsite at the Pentagon and 50% remote work. Responsibilities include developing policies, delivering briefings, supporting modernization initiatives, and coordinating across the DAF to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of experience (GS-13/14 equivalent) in Emergency Services and CBRN Defense operations.
• Expertise in corporate policies, CBRN defense programs, and Global Force Management strategies.
• Local to the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CBRN Defense policies, governance documents, and action plans.
• Provide briefings, reports, and meeting materials to leadership and stakeholders.
• Advocate for DAF capability needs in CBRN Defense Science & Technology initiatives.
• Support CBRN modernization efforts by attending and contributing to Joint Integrated Concept Team meetings.
• Provide expert analysis and recommendations on CBRN Defense modernization and acquisition programs.
• Oversee Air Force interests throughout the DoD acquisition lifecycle for Joint CBRN Defense Programs.
• Maintain a web-based collaboration tool to improve CBRN acquisition awareness.
• Organize and support Senior Executive-level working groups for OSD CBRN efforts.
• Ensure Air Force equities are integrated into Joint, DoD, and NATO planning and programming documents.
• Coordinate across DAF enterprise to align research, development, and acquisition priorities.
