Job summary

Legacy Senior Living in Madison, WI is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate care and support to seniors. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health changes, and partner with families to enhance residents' well-being.

This role values dignity, independence, and a warm, respectful environment. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility help, medication reminders, and teamwork with wellness staff.

Qualifications

• CBRF Certification required
• Experience in care for older adults preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Willing to learn and follow care plans and safety policies

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and emotional support per resident care plans
• Assist with daily activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, medication reminders
• Respond promptly to resident needs day or night
• Build trustful relationships with residents and families
• Escort residents to meals and activities to encourage social engagement
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to wellness leadership
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with care policies
• Assist with dining service, light housekeeping, laundry and daily comforts
• Uphold resident rights, dignity, independence, and safety
