Job summary

V2X in Meridian, Mississippi is seeking an Aircraft Logs and Records Clerk to manage logbooks, ALS records, and flight data per OPNAV 4790.2 and related contracts.

The role requires 3 years in maintaining logbooks, 35 wpm typing, a valid state driver’s license, and the ability to coordinate with PMO and customer teams to ensure accurate inventories and timely reports.

Qualifications

• Completion of U.S. Armed Forces Logs and Records (AZ/6046) specialized 'A' School listed on DD214.
• Three (3) years experience in maintaining aircraft logbooks/aeronautical equipment service records and OOMA ALS.
• Meet Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
• Must have a valid state DL.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 security clearance within first six months.
• Thorough working knowledge of maintenance/technical manuals and publications.
• Thorough working knowledge of aircraft logbooks and OOMA ALS records.
• Proficient with computers, typewriters and office equipment.
• Typing at least 35 words per minute.
• Customer oriented.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of Aircraft Logs and Records Clerk as required.
• Updates and verifies Technical Directive System List and NAT Reports.
• Maintains TRACE CADPAD Modules for aircraft and ejection seats AESR records.
• Drafts Engine Transaction Reports and End of Quarter Engine Reports.
• Drafts OPNAV XRAY and Quarterly Aircraft Audit Reports.
• Opens NALCOMIS OOMA data entry.
• Compiles Monthly Maintenance Plan and submits related CDRLs.
• Maintains OOMA ALS maintenance history, installation and usage data.
• Monitors configuration status, weight and balance data.
• Maintains depot event induction/receipt schedules.
• Reviews OOMA ALS maintenance documents for program compliance.
• Coordinates with PMO, customer and work centers on records issues.
• Maintains clean work area and adheres to FOD/TCP rules.

Responsibilities

Performs administrative and clerical duties using computer, typewriter and other associated equipment within Logs and Records. Maintains aircraft logbooks and OOMA Auto Log-sets (ALS) records, maintenance data and flight data in accordance with OPNAV 4790.2 series and applicable contractual requirements. Ensures the provision of accurate aircraft inventories, equipment serial numbers and configurations. Monitors and ensures timely submission of required CDRLs and reports data. Provides technical assistance, guidance and instruction to employees in the Aircraft Logs and Records Clerk classification.

Essential duties and Accountabilities:

• Performs the duties and responsibilities of Aircraft Logs and Records Clerk classification.
• Updates, maintains, and verifies Technical Directive System List 02, 04, 04H, NAT 02 (SE), and NAT 04 (ALSS) Reports.
• Maintain and Upkeep TRACE CADPAD Modules for aircraft and ejection seats AESR Records
• Draft Engine Transaction Report and End of the Quarter Engine Reports.
• Draft OPNAV XRAY and Quarterly Aircraft Audit Reports.
• Operate NALCOMIS OOMA for NAVFLIR data entry.
• Compiles Monthly Maintenance Plan.
• Submit MMP and Fatigue Life Expenditure CDRLs
• Maintain and Upkeep OOMA component Auto Log-Sets (ALS) maintenance history, installation, and usage data.
• Monitors aircraft configuration status, weight and balance and inventory data for accuracy.
• Maintains Depot event induction/receipt schedule with required pre-induction reports
• Reviews NALCOMIS OOMA Auto Log-Set (ALS) maintenance documents to ensure scheduled/unscheduled maintenance program requirements are met.
• Coordinates with PMO, the customer and work centers regarding aircraft history/log book matters.
• Provides technical assistance, guidance and instruction as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area.
• Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations including participation in FOD walk down when directed.
• Responsible for adhering to the Company Tool Control Program.

Qualifications

Qualification Standards:

Must be able to type a minimum of thirty-five (35) words per minute. Must be customer oriented.

Physical Demands:

This classification activity is usually accomplished in an office environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with office activities. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment:
