The Center for Causal Inference (CCI) within the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in causal inference.

Applicants will collaborate on methodological projects under mentorship by CCI faculty, including Dr. Nandita Mitra and Dr. Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen, with opportunity for cross-disciplinary work across biostatistics and epidemiology.

Start date negotiable; strong computational skills and a doctoral degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong computational skills and expertise in causal inference are desired but not required.
• Start date and term are negotiable.

Responsibilities

• develop new theory and methods in causal inference; develop software; and potentially collaborate on applied projects in Health and Social Sciences.
• participate in the weekly working group meeting and the annual Causal Inference Summer Institute.
