Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a Farmworker to care for cattle in Colorado. Duties include feeding, watering, herding, branding, loading, and assisting with calving. You may inspect and repair facilities and maintain cattle records as needed.

Housing and meals are provided. Transportation to grocery stores is arranged, and some periods may involve weekend or holiday work. Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States within 3 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Attend to cattle, including bedding, feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching and loading.
• Inspect, maintain feeding and manure equipment, repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards and fences.
• Administer medications, vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate.
• May maintain records on cattle; exam cattle to detect diseases or injuries; assist in calving.
