Job summary

Dphx in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support Catholic education under the preschool director. The role focuses on creating a faith-centered classroom, leading activities, and collaborating with the team to support each student’s growth.

Responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with Diocesan standards, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, reporting progress to the director, and building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school or high school equivalency diploma and six months of child care experience or NAC, CDA, CCP, or CPC credential or Associate degree from an accredited college or university in the areas of early childhood, childhood development or closely related field
• Preference given to Catholic teachers
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance completed
• Safe Environment Training and signed Code of Ethics

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree in Early Childhood or related field
