Job summary

Archdiocese of Chicago is seeking a Middle School Teacher (6th-8th) to join our Catholic school community. The teacher will model Catholic doctrine and moral teachings, and serve as a representative of theArchdiocese in bearing the Catholic mission to students.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and valid state licensure for the grade/subject area, with preference for practicing Catholics and completion of Catholic identity formation training.

Qualifications

• Must hold Bachelor’s degree and valid state licensure for the grade/subject area.
• Practicing Catholic (preferred; religion teachers require Catholic identity).
• Must complete Catholic identity formation training.
• Must meet compliance with safe environment requirements.
