Job summary

Medasource is seeking a Travel Cath Lab/Tech – Interventional Cardiology for Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA. This 13-week assignment requires 4 × 10-hour shifts with call, and is ideal for an experienced Cath Lab RN or RCIS/Tech with critical-care expertise.

The role involves supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures, including PCI, CTO interventions, TAVR, Watchman, and closures, with access to IVUS, Shockwave, and other devices.

Qualifications

• Experience with critical-care drip management.
• Experience with RHC/LHC.
• Experience with CTO and complex interventions.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Support complex cardiovascular procedures (PCI, CTO interventions, TAVR, Watchman).
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment; ensure patient safety.
• Document procedures in EPIC Cupid.
• Collaborate with a 3–4 person team of RNs and Techs.

• Hospital: Memorial Health University Medical Center
• Unit: Cath Lab – Interventional Labs
• Facility: Heart & Vascular Tower
• Cath Labs: 3 total — 2 dedicated Cath Labs and 1 hybrid OR
• Typical Team: 3–4 person teams with 2 RNs and 2 Techs
• Documentation: EPIC Cupid
• Floating: Not required
• Cardiac Care: Level I Cardiac Care Designation
• Regional hub for advanced cardiac services

Required Experience

Must Have

• Experience with critical-care drip management
• Experience with RHC/LHC
• Experience with CTO and complex interventions
• BLS and ACLS

Preferred

• Experience with advanced/interventional cardiac procedures

Procedures & Technology

The Cath Lab performs a wide range of advanced cardiovascular procedures, including:

• Complex PCI
• CTO interventions
• TAVR
• Watchman procedures
• PFO closure
• ASD/VSD closure
• Temporary pacemaker (TVP) placement
• IABP

The department utilizes advanced technology including IVUS, Shockwave, DFR, FFR, Rotablator, IABP, Impella, and TVP.

Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call required
• No floating
