Job summary

Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit regional health system in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is hiring Cath Lab Technologists for MTM Staffing’s in-house traveler team. The role offers 11-13 week assignments with potential extension, a pay rate of $80/hour, and benefits including health insurance and a 403(b) retirement plan.

Hours are 36 per week with day shifts and a rotation that includes call nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology with ARRT RT(R) or CCI RCIS certification.
One year of Scrub Assistant experience in a cardiac cath lab/IR/Structural Heart.
Post-primary certification in Cardiac or Interventional Radiography preferred for Radiologic Technologists.
For RT(R), MA licensure and ARRT registration; for non-RT, CCI registration.
BLS and ACLS required; post-primary ARRT/Cardiac radiography preferred.

Responsibilities

Under supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab Manager, perform diversified clinical patient care and imaging within the cath lab or structural heart.
Obtain hemodynamic data and document in the EHR/hemodynamic system; educate patients about procedures.
Position patients, prepare imaging equipment, select factors/sequences for quality images, and apply ALARA principles.
Assist interventional cardiologist in cardiac cath or structural heart procedures.
