Job summary

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA is seeking an Experienced Cardiovascular Technologist for the Cath Lab (ARRT-R/RCIS). This full-time, 1.0 FTE role offers an hourly pay range and a signing bonus/relocation assistance.

You will work in a busy, diverse Cath Lab environment across interventional cardiology, structural heart, vascular, neurovascular and device procedures. Responsibilities include procedural support, collaboration with physicians, and ongoing skill development in

Qualifications

• ARRT-R or RCIS certification is required.
• WA State RT license is required.
• BLS is required upon hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 6 months.
• Minimum two years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide catheterization lab support during interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure patient safety.
• Assist with equipment setup, readiness, and sterile technique in the Cath Lab.
• Participate in data collection and post-procedure documentation when appropriate.

The team performs approximately 25 to 30 procedures daily across six procedural rooms, creating an environment where no two days look exactly alike.

Current procedural areas include:

• Two dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab rooms
• One Hybrid room supporting vascular and structural heart procedures
• One Interventional Radiology suite, including neuro-interventional procedures
• Two Electrophysiology (EP) rooms

Cath Lab Technologists do not staff EP cases.

Schedule & Call

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Rotating weekday off
• Every fifth weekend creates a four-day weekend
• One weekday call shift per week
• Weekend call rotation every 4th to 6th weekend

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $51.58 - $76.84/hour

The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Work is performed in a hospital setting and includes exposure to biohazards, body fluids, airborne particles, and certain chemicals. Requires standing and moving throughout the workday, with frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, and handling of medical equipment. Must be able to perform precise procedures requiring fine motor skills, communicate effectively, and maintain normal vision and hearing (with corrective devices if needed). Patient handling may involve up to 35 lbs. without assistive equipment, with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
