Job summary

KHI in Kingman, AZ, is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to perform interventional imaging in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will protect patients from radiation, monitor ECG and hemodynamics, and document events in the hospital's system.

Requirements include Radiologic Technologist education, AZ ARRT licensure, AHA BLS and ACLS within 3 months, and at least 2 years of angiography experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiological Technologist program, approved by the AMA Council on Medical Education, and ACR.
• Current registration and licensure by the Arizona Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners, ARRT(R).
• BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA); ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality service and interacts positively with customers while performing tasks in this job description.
• Operates imaging equipment and assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath lab.
• Provides protection to patients and staff per radiation safety standards and documents events promptly.
• Records key events during procedures and monitors ECG and pressure waveforms.
• Assists in locating anatomy and selecting proper technical factors and sterile technique.
• Participates in on-call rotations and coverage as scheduled.
