Job summary

Ascension in Brookfield, WI seeks a Cardiovascular Technician for active physiological monitoring and intra-procedural testing. You will identify patient condition changes and communicate them to the physician to guide case decisions.

You will assist with room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure cleanup, ensuring infection control and sharps safety. This full-time, day-shift role supports a busy cardiac program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience required.
• Associate's degree or technical degree preferred or 4 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform active physiological monitoring of heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations and communicate changes to the physician and team.
• Routinely perform patient testing/monitoring including oxygen saturation, cardiac output, shunting, hemodynamic calculations.
• Anticipate and adapt to physician and case needs.
• Assist with room setup, patient transport and post-procedure cleanup; adhere to infection control and sharps safety procedures.
