Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab Technician to assist Cardiologists in diagnostic invasive procedures and to support PCI, stent and IABP placements. You will operate fluoroscopy, calibrate equipment, and manage PACS images, while ensuring patient safety and sterile technique.

You will monitor hemodynamics, respond to emergencies, and uphold infection control, quality standards, and safety policies throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a healthcare related field is required.
• RT(R) or CVT certification must be obtained within two years if not already possessed.
• RCIS certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 2 years radiology experience or 1–2 years Cath Lab/interventional radiology experience preferred.
• 3–4 years Cath Lab experience required for CST.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologist in diagnostic invasive procedures.
• Perform PCI, stents, IABP placement and peripheral interventions.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and calibrate it, handle PACS images.
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and surgical asepsis during procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and follow radiation safety protocols.
