Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Tech to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures. You will prepare/maintain equipment, monitor patients, and ensure safety and high-quality care in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience and relevant licenses (CVT/CRT or RN licensure). Preferred ARRT/ACLS; benefits include student loan support and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular diagnostic setting required.

Aufgaben

• Prepares the Cath Lab for procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
• Operates specialized equipment (fluoroscopy, IVUS, hemodynamic monitoring) during procedures.
• Monitors patient vitals, documents data, and reports abnormalities.
• Positions and explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Ensures accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and equipment use.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection control guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Assists with contrast media and medications under physician direction.
• Supports quality improvement and accreditation activities in the Cath Lab.
• Performs maintenance and basic troubleshooting of Cath Lab equipment to minimize downtime.
• Provides post-procedural care and instructions, coordinating with the team for follow-up.
