Job summary

Soliant is seeking an RN with Cath Lab experience to join a contract assignment in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab. You will assess patients, monitor vitals, and support imaging procedures in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires an active RN license, 2+ years in a Cath Lab, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with collaboration across an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• 2+ years’ Cath Lab experience or equivalent
• ARRT imaging credentials preferred; BLS/ACLS required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess cardiac patients pre-procedure
• Monitor vitals, administer meds, respond to emergencies
• Operate imaging equipment used for cardiac interventions
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists and staff for outcomes
• Maintain infection control and safety standards

Job description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Proficient with imaging equipment used for cardiac catheterization
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and patient assessment skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high‑acuity situations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Schedule/Hours

• Schedule provided upon assignment
• May include rotating shifts, on‑call, or weekend hours

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-procedure preparation and assessment of cardiac patients
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies during procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment used for cardiac interventions
• Document procedures, nursing interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
