Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association seeks a full-time Cath Lab Technician to support cardiovascular procedures in a hospital setting. You will assist with catheterizations and electrophysiology, monitor and scrub during interventions, and educate patients and families about post-care.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Health Science or related field, with Bachelor's preferred, and certification requirements including BLS and ACLS; RCIS/ARRT-CV preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health Science or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum one year of independent cardiovascular lab experience or equivalent education.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Instructor or Provisional), RCIS/ARRT-CV preferred; licenses must be current.

Responsibilities

• Performing and assisting with cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures
• Monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating during interventions
• Preparing patients, verifying identities, and ensuring sterile techniques
• Maintaining accurate records, supplies, and equipment
• Educating patients and their families about procedures and post-care
• Collaborating with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and documentation
• Handling communication and on-call duties as needed
