Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) to support diagnostic procedures and imaging in a fast-paced Cath lab. The role involves assisting physicians, circulating and scrubbing, and operating advanced equipment to capture heart and vessel data.

The candidate should have ARRT certification, RCIS preferred, and at least 2 years in a Cath Lab setting with BLS/ACLS. Travel within the last 18 months and licensure as required by state are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and Cath lab personnel in diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Operate advanced medical imaging equipment to capture heart and vessel data.
• Float across Des Moines campuses to support like units as needed.
• Provide scrubbing, circulating and monitoring support during procedures.

Job description

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• 24 months minimum experience in Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab
• Active ARRT required
• Travel experience within the previous 18 months required
• Scrubbing experience and proficiency required
• Willingness to take call
• Circulating experience required
• Monitoring experience required
• Driver's License required
• ARRT or RCIS certificate required

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 4x10s, 40 hours per week
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Days: Monday-Friday with a random day off during the week
• Holiday rotation required
• Call: 1 night per week and every 3rd weekend from 7:30 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Weekend requirement: call schedule and assigned cases on rare occasion
• Float required across Des Moines campuses to like units if needed
