Job summary
Jackson HealthPros in Lexington, Kentucky seeks a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) to support physicians and the Cath lab team, performing diagnostic tests and operating equipment to capture heart and vessel images. Requirements: ARRT Radiologic Technologist, 2 years Cath Lab experience, BLS & ACLS, RCIS via CCI, and state licensing if required.
Shifts may be 4x10s or 5x8s with call; hours 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with weeknight, weekend and holiday on-call duties.
Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
- Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
- BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- State specific licensing when required
- BLS Certification
- ACLS
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
- Must have competence and prior experience in the Cath Lab
- Schedule may be 4x10s or 5x8s with call
- Cases are typically scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weeknight call is required
- Weekend call is required
- Holiday call is required
- Call response time is 30 minutes
- Floating to other procedural areas may be required based on census
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and Cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures
- Operate advanced medical equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels
