Origin Travel Nurses in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team for a 13-week assignment. The role emphasizes cardiac care and cath lab procedures, requiring independence and the ability to collaborate in a high-paced environment.

You will provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, assist with LHC, RHC, PCI, PPM, Impella, and IABP, document in Meditech, and work with a team of RNs and techs to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license is required.
• Prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience is mandatory.
• Experience with Impella, IABP, vents, and related equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a high-stress environment.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, with specific experience in cath lab procedures. The role requires both independence and the ability to work collaboratively within a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, performing assessments and administering medications as needed.
• Assist with various cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
• Work as part of a call team during night shifts.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in GE EMR - Meditech.
• Collaborate with a team of RN's and techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is mandatory.
• Experience with Impella, IABP, vents, and other related equipment preferred.
• Strong ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a high-stress environment.
