The role emphasizes patient safety, operating imaging and monitoring equipment, and preparing patients for catheterizations and stent placements. You will assist physicians, maintain sterile technique, document clinical data, and ensure equipment functionality while following radiation safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment, lift up to 100 lbs, and perform fine motor tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail.
• Effective visual and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for procedures such as catheterizations and stent placements.
• Assist physicians by passing instruments and operating fluoroscopy and monitoring systems.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure equipment functionality.
• Perform sheath removal and manage hemostasis.
• Ensure accurate documentation and manage supplies.
• Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control.
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
