Sugar Land Cardiovascular ASC

Sugar Land Cardiovascular ASC is seeking a motivated Cath Lab Tech to join our team. We have 2 cath labs and 10 pre/post op beds. We perform diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, pulse generator changes, loop implants and a variety of IR procedures. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday based on staff rotation, schedule subject to change based on procedure schedule/volume/flow of the day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings (6am) and later afternoons.

Position requires weekday only based on a staff rotation - no holidays or call. Some later afternoons required.

Job Summary

Performs patient care activities. Scrubs and assists physician during procedures. Assists with X‑Ray equipment, cleans and stores supplies, instruments, and equipment. Documents and maintains patient intraprocedural records, procedure logs and required paperwork.

Required Skills and Requirements

• Training/experience in a Cath lab required.
• Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles and sterile technique required.
• CPR/ACLS certification required.
• Radiology certification preferred, RCIS certification preferred.
• Understanding of housekeeping requirements, including sterile environments, preferred.
