Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a qualified Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) for a 13-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana. This role features competitive pay of $68/hour and focuses on a day shift work schedule.

The Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians, prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure safety protocols are always followed. Candidates should have an active Cath Lab Tech license in Indiana and 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility.
• Active BLS certification, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for catheterization procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment in the cath lab.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures.

• Operate imaging equipment in the cath lab
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
• Maintain accurate records of procedures
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times

A few must-haves for Cath Lab Techs:

• Active Cath Lab Tech license within the state of Indiana
• 1-2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility
• Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
• Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
