Qualifications

Overview

Cath Lab Tech

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement and initiative to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of each individual patient, under the guidelines and protocols provided by the department leaders, hospital and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification/registration:
  • Required: Current licensure with ARRT and TDH
  • BLS/CPR AND ACLS
• Preferred: Current certification as a Radiology Technician or Cardiovascular Technologist; Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) credential
• Experience:
  • Preferred: Two (2) years cath lab or special procedures
  • 1+ to 2 years experience
