Job summary

Henderson Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe and competent patient care within a dynamic healthcare team. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and professional leadership to support the healthcare team.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/NRP as required, with a BSN preferred. This full-time, on-site position offers opportunities for professional growth within The Valley Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent.
• One (1) year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (Adult patients). Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty or department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
