Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge in Naples, FL seeks a Seasonal Cath Lab RN to provide patient-centered care, coordination with physicians, and support in a lead/charge role based on experience. The role includes catheterization procedure support, post-procedure monitoring, and adherence to clinical protocols.

The RN will participate in shifts with day coverage, maintain infection control, document care, and educate patients and families about procedures and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN - Registered Nurse licensed in the state or compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and deliver care per physician orders and protocols.
• Assist during procedures and monitor patient during and after catheterization.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
